I wanted to publish a blog on this subject because I think it’s important to have as much information as possible about anything that we are going to put on our skin, and I enjoy sharing what I’ve learned with others.

A few things about me, for those who may be interested. I am a native American and have lived in France for all of my adult life. I taught English as a foreign language for 20 years before retiring, while raising four children.

Now divorced and with an empty nest, I spend my time singing in chorales (classical and operetta), and of course spend many hours in front of my computer.

I may publish a photo of myself one of these days, if I get one I like…
